Our client is a FTSE 100 household name operating in the Professional Services arena and due to continued expansion, they have an urgent requirement for a permanent HR Operations Business Partner position based in Cork with responsibility for two sites supporting c.650 employees.
As part of a diverse and multi-skilled HR team, the HR Business Partner provides operational HR Support to employees and Managers in a fast-moving commercial environment across a business with a robust engagement team who are focused ontalent, learning and development and transformation/change management.
This role requires a strong technical generalist with a good mix of strategic/innovative HR & ER as you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team tasked with delivering an overarching people agenda. Experience of Irish Law and Redundancy is essential. Along with being the first point of contact and support for the managers on day-to-day complex HR queries and escalations; you will partner with the Senior Management Team to understand the strategic goals of the business and develop a people agenda to complement these strategic goals.
Key Aspects of the role
- Keeping all site employees appraised of current and new Employment Legislation.
- Producing monthly HR reports and statistics for the HR Manager.
- Addressing issues of high turnover, sickness and cost savings.
- Seeking resolutions through settlement agreements or Employment Tribunals and managing the process through solicitors and ACAS.
- Networking with the wider HR team
To apply successfully you will have strong generalist HR experience within a commercial, multi-site environment, extensive Employee Relations exposure with a focus on talent management and attrition, and be used to supporting lots of team leaders with extensive experience of upskilling managers training on capability and working on a big cultural change piece.
It is important that you have experience of working at a level of engaging senior stakeholders (such as MDs, FDs, Ops Directors) within a large business, and that you possess resilience and tenacity to challenge and push back at this level also. Experience of coaching managers through succession and talent plans, building action plans from employee surveys etc would be ideal.
This role would suit an influencer with a robust attitude, keen to build a supportive environment. You should be a confident communicator and team player who enjoys new challenges and have an up to date knowledge of Irish Employment Law. CIPD Qualification is desirable but not essential.

This is a permanent role paying a salary of between €42,000 - €44,000 +10% Car Allowance and offers €500 Healthcare. The role is based in Cork across two sites.
