This Houghton Regis based engineering company is looking for an Interim Project Accountant to support the Financial Controller primarily by reinstating group procedures in line with Internal Audit.
You must be an immediately available qualified Accountant with experience of similar projects where you have implemented controls and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include
- Understanding or developing further reports on Exact accounting software including liaising with Exact Consultants.
- Updating procedure notes
- Establishing more defined job roles in finance
This role requires a clear confident communicator who is experienced at working interim roles, can demonstrate good project management skills and hit the ground running, making a positive impact quickly. You must be adept at implementing controls and procedures and be highly process driven with the ability to clearly convey guidelines to both finance and non-finance staff.
This is a small team and the ideal applicant will be supportive, able to follow set guidelines and work autonomously using their own initiative.
This is a three month contract starting ASAP and is paying £250 - £350 per day depending on experience.
