This high profile Business Services organisation is recruiting an HR Advisor on a permanent basis to be home based with occasional UK travel.
You will be responsible for supporting 5 councils providing professional HR support and advice and working closely with your Stakeholders to help them ascertain and achieve the business requirements.
To help ensure client retention through effective relationship management and also identify opportunities to develop and grow the service.
To provide advice and support to clients on complex employee relations casework and projects ensuring that cases/ projects progress in accordance with client procedures, legislation and current best practice.
To utilise the risk model to assess the level of support required by a client for each employee relations case and contribute to an effective strategy for case management.
To draft complex written communications i.e. business cases, reports, letters as required.
To interpret employment law/ legislation to review and develop HR policies and procedures as required.
To provide advice to clients on complex terms and conditions of service including interpreting associated legislation.
To carry out Job Evaluation (Hay etc) when required.
To design and deliver training events which reflect the outcomes identified by a client.
To provide HR input to projects when required using project management principles.
The successful applicant will be qualified to CIPD stage 7 or working towards this stage presently. You should be highly organised, adept at planning your schedule and with excellent analytical skills. The role requires a strong communicator who can manage relationships an team working remotely as well as on-site and who can respond quickly and efficiently, demonstrating flexibility when coping with the demands of the business.
This is a permanent position offering £32,000 + car allowance + benefits. The role is home based with regular travel to other sites, including Havant, Petersfield, South Oxfordshire, Shepton Mallet and Fleet. There will be limited travel to Belfast at times.
