The ideal candidate will be a qualified management accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.


This growing Financial Services business based in Central London is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

This offers an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Hedge Fund with a business model that uses highly advanced technology and operates across multiple jurisdictions.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and supporting the Stakeholders, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Management Accounts to include managing financial accounting and reporting systems, financials policies and procedures, and internal controls.

In light of Covid-19, all interviews will be taking place via video link and the successful candidate might be expected to start working remotely depending on timescales.


Preparation of monthly management accounts for 2 entities (Ltd and LLP)
Assist in preparation of Annual Operating & Capital Expenditure budgets
Raising monthly management fee invoices and quarterly annual performance fee invoices for the funds and managed accounts.
Ensuring Fund invoices are posted correctly and in line with the budgets.
Monitoring staff expenses and ensuring compliance with expenses policies.
VAT returns
Calculation and issuance of invoices
Reconciling various accounts with data from other sources and correcting any variances.
Liaising with outsourced 3rd party suppliers who assist with the bookkeeping function and taxation
Identifying any issues or irregularities with accounting records or fund activities.

Experience Requirements

Applicants from a Fund Accounting background are preferred, although good hands-on Management Accounts experience gained in a quality financial services environment will also be favourably considered.
