Description

This financial services consultancy is looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support the Director and assist in the growth of the business.

The salary is £15k p/a base depending on experience working 3 days per week (1 full Office day & 16 flexible working hours).  There is a discretionary Bonus of up to 10% (50:50 Company & Personal performance), 3% Pension Contribution and holiday allowance (20 days pro rata incl bank holidays).

Responsibilities

Processing Client sales/purchase invoices, receipts, and payments
Carrying out regular financial reports, both on systems and spreadsheets
Retrieving and logging of all Client regular outgoing payments
Responding to and resolving any client invoicing issues
Regular monitoring of the company's financial credit control and taking appropriate action where required
Ledger reconciliations in Purchase, Sales & Cash
Processing of Property Manager Reports
Preparing initial Trial Balance financials
Providing cover for Director during absence and holidays
Support with general administration tasks

Experience Requirements

Good professional communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with the firm’s Clients and a friendly flexible attitude is key. You should like working with data and take pride in the accuracy of your reporting. The role would suit a confident practical individual who will propose new and improved processes and effect positive change.

Skills

The ideal applicant will be part qualified ACCA or CIMA with a minimum of 3 years experience working in an accounts/finance team.  Real estate experience is advantageous but not essential and proficiency with Xero/Clearbooks/Excel would be helpful. If you have good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, along with the ability to work independently when remote in a conscientious manner then this could be the ideal role for you.
