This highly successful organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Stock Controller with stock experience.

Based at their site in Elstree and reporting to the Operations Manager you will be coordinating and managing shipments, overseeing inventory audits and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing.

Assisting and supporting external sites in the provision of a managed service that will ensure efficient and effective use of facilities.
Contributing as part of the integral team that aims to deliver on an optimum configuration of core services.
Stock and Procurement
Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and stock shortages
Agreeing minimum and maximum stock levels required by the Group.
Publishing min and max stock level requirements on a quarterly basis
Maintaining and creating product master data
Placing orders using ERP system or manual requisitions for stock/equipment replenishment
Tracking shipments and addressing any delays
Receipting of deliveries on ERP system, posting final available quantities.
Evaluating supplier product portfolio’s and negotiating pricing
Coordinate product sourcing, Supplier selection and approval processes
Reviewing completed call-off stock delivery request forms.
Working with lab support to set up and monitor standing orders and delivery schedules
To proactively engage the wider team and suppliers around improvement in delivery

Experience Requirements

To apply you must have prior experience working in a warehouse/supply chain environment and exposure to stock sorting, stock counting and location checks.


You will be educated to degree level, with advanced administrative skills and a solid understanding of MRP systems. Previous experience of working with a Quality Management System would be highly advantageous.

The successful applicant will be highly organised; detail minded and work efficiently and accurately. We are looking for a confident, friendly team player who always demonstrates a professional customer focused attitude and who can work on their own initiative.
Advanced English language skills both written and verbal are essential as is working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
